Privacy Policy — Jorio Travel

1. Purpose
This policy explains how Jorio Travel collects, uses, retains and protects personal data submitted through joriotravel.com, particularly through the Contact and Plan Your Trip forms.
2. Data controller
The data controller is Jorio Travel, based in Morocco. For privacy questions or requests, contact hello@joriotravel.com.
Additional confirmed business information, including legal form, registered address and registration number, will be added once officially available.
3. Data we collect
Depending on the form, we may collect your first and last name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, intended destination, travel dates or period, traveller count, budget, travel style, interests, preferences, free-text message, form language, enquiry source, and technical information needed to operate and secure the site.
Please do not submit sensitive data, payment-card details, identity documents or medical information in free-text fields.
4. How we use data
We use personal data only to receive and understand enquiries, contact travellers, prepare a tailored proposal, manage enquiry follow-up, send acknowledgements and communications directly related to a trip request, operate and secure the website, and meet applicable legal obligations.
Jorio Travel does not use travel enquiries for unrelated marketing without the appropriate consent.
5. Legal grounds
Depending on the circumstances, processing is based on your request and the pre-contractual steps required to respond, your consent where required, applicable legal obligations, and Jorio Travel’s legitimate interest in securely administering its activity.
6. Recipients and service providers
Data is available only to people who need it to handle the enquiry and to necessary technical providers. The current system uses Framer, Make, Airtable, Google Sheets and other Google services where needed, and Jorio Travel’s operational email provider.
Jorio Travel does not sell or rent personal data.
7. International hosting and transfers
Some providers may host or process data outside Morocco. Jorio Travel will complete applicable CNDP formalities and use safeguards required by Moroccan Law No. 09-08 where such transfers occur
8. Retention
Data is retained only for as long as necessary to handle and follow up the enquiry, then deleted or archived when no longer needed, subject to legal obligations. A precise operational retention schedule will be documented before enquiry volumes increase.
9. Your rights
Under Moroccan Law No. 09-08, you may request access to and correction of your personal data and, where legally applicable, object to certain processing. You may also request deletion of data that is no longer required.

10. Cookies and analytics
The site may use technologies necessary for operation, security and technical usage measurement, including technologies supplied by Framer. No behavioural advertising system is declared active as of this policy date. This section will be updated before adding tools that require additional notice or consent.
11. Security
Jorio Travel and its providers use reasonable technical and organisational measures to limit unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure. No system can guarantee absolute security, so sensitive information should not be sent through the forms.
12. Changes
This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the site, providers or legal requirements. The current revision date appears at the top of the page.
